When will The Mutt be in stock?
I am currently taking preorders in batches and building them first come, first serve. If the Mutt is not in stock that means I am currently building the last batch. I will open up orders again when all the previous orders are fulfilled. This helps this one man operation from getting overloaded and from wait times stretching into months. Is The Mutt an amp-in-a-box? Is it two amps?
The Mutt is a 2-in-1 distortion pedal. It is meant to be plugged into the front end of a clean amplifier.
Can I plug The Mutt into my amps effects loop?
You can certainly try that, but that is not the manner in which the pedal was designed for. For best results I'd recommend running into the front of an amplifier like a standard distortion pedal.
Can you switch between the Martian side and the Erectifier side?
No. The pedal was designed after a very specific effect of blending these two amps at the same time. If you want to only hear the Martian side, turn the Blend knob fully toward the left. If you want to only hear the Erectifier side, turn the Blend knob fully toward the right.
If you want a clean tone, just turn the pedal off :)
What are the power requirements of The Mutt?
The Mutt runs on 9V DC Negative Center power and consumes 24mA.
Because of the high-gain nature of the pedal, I'd strongly encourage a power supply with isolated outputs rather than daisy chaining pedals together, to help prevent unwanted noise from being amplified.
Does The Mutt include a power supply?
No, The Mutt does not include a power supply. It only consumes 24mA of power and should be powered by most simple 9 volt guitar pedal power supplies. Furthermore I have a wide variety of international customers and including a power supply that doesn't work in your country seems rather wasteful.
Is The Mutt a digital amp-sim?
No. The Mutt is 100% all analog circuitry.
What are the dimensions of The Mutt?
The Mutt is 5.7 inches wide by 4.7 inches tall.
