Utility Belt FX was born out of one dude's dream for the ultimate pop-punk guitar tone. I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old after hearing albums like Nevermind, Evil Empire, and Dude Ranch playing in my big sisters room. I became obsessed with replicating the power and intensity I heard on songs like Bulls on Parade and Dammit. I didn't start building guitar pedals until 2022, both as a hobby and as therapy after the loss of my mother. When the writers strike of 2023 shut Hollywood down, my primarily industry of work, I focused my efforts on building pedals full time to support my income.

When you purchase a guitar pedal from Utility Belt FX, you aren't supporting some massive corporation. I'm just a dude building these one by one by hand. You're directly supporting a small business owner and passionate guitar player... just like yourself. I answer every email and every DM myself.

Since officially opening up shop in 2024, I have had the privilege of building pedals for Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and even built a custom run of pedals for Tom's company To The Stars*.
